 应数学与统计学院邀请,中国石油大学(华东)闫统江教授将来我院作学术报告。

报告题目:Two types of applications of the cyclotomy theory in the design of error-correction codes

报告摘要:Cyclotomy theory and generalized cyclotomy theory play an important role in the design of classical error-correction codes and quantum error-correcting codes. As a classical error-correction code, a double circulant self-dual code employs one generator matrix consists of two circulant matrices and possesses many good algebraic properties. By constructing double circulant generator matrixes using cyclotomy and generalized cyclotomy, we presented some double circulant self-dual codes with optimal minimum distances. As a new class of quantum error-correcting codes, quantum synchronizable codes can be used to correct the effects of both quantum noise on qubits and misalignment in block synchronization. We construct some new quantum synchronizable codes by cyclotomy and generalized cyclotomy. Synchronization capability of these codes can reach the upper bound, and some of them possess good error-correcting capability towards bit errors and phase errors.

【报告人简介】

 中国石油大学(华东)教授、博士生导师、中国密码学会密码算法专委会委员、中国工业与应用数学会密码编码及相关组合理论专委会委员、山东省数学会常务理事、山东工业与应用数学会副会长、山东省教学指导委员会委员、中国石油大学(华东)应用数学与能源数据科学交叉学科博士点负责人。主持完成国家自然科学基金面上项目等省部级以上纵向科研项目6项,在国内外重要期刊发表学术论文60余篇,获山东省教育厅科研成果奖1项。主编校级规划教材2部。主要研究兴趣为伪随机序列的设计与分析、纠错码的设计与分析、基于区块链的联邦学习理论。
