报告摘要：In this talk, we investigate the well-posedness of the 3d co-rotational Beris-Edwards system for incompressible nematic liquid crystal flows with the Landau-De Gennes bulk potential. The system under consideration consists of the Navier--Stokes equations for the fluid velocity coupled with an evolution equations for the Q-tensor order parameter. We prove the existence of solutions to the Cauchy problem of the system with initial data having small -norm. Moreover, the uniqueness of -solutions is obtained.

【报告人简介】
刘桥，湖南师范大学副教授，硕士生导师。博士毕业于中山大学，在北京应用物理与计算数学研究所博士后流动站进站，合作导师江松院士，并先后在浙江大学、香港城市大学、美国Purdue大学做访问学者。主要研究源于向列型液晶材料的数学模型，如Ericksen-Leslie方程组、Beris-Edwards方程组及相关流体动力方程组等的数学问题，在适定性、解的正则性与长时间性态和解的奇性分析等方面得到了一系列的研究成果，已在《J. Functional Analysis》、《Calc. Var. Partial Differential Equations》、《J. Differential Equations》、《Nonlinearity》等SCI类学术期刊上接收或发表论文60多篇。主持国家自然科学基金面上项目1项，主持国家自然科学基金青年基金1项，主持国家自然科学基金数学天元基金项目1项。
