应学院邀请,美国威斯康星大学白水分校陈学庆教授将讲授系列短课程。 

报告题目:Representation Theory of Quivers

报告摘要:The main objective of representation theory is the study of algebras via the study of their modules (or representations). We will use quivers (oriented graphs) and their representations (given by vector spaces associated to vertices and linear maps associated to arrows) to approach representation theory. This approach can be used to study the representation theory of all finite dimensional algebras (as quotients of path algebras of quivers). By now, some remarkable connections to other algebraic topics have been discovered, such as to Lie algebras, Hall algebras and quantum groups and more recently to cluster algebras.

报告人简介

 陈学庆,美国威斯康星大学白水分校教授。研究领域为有限维代数(箭图)的表示、Hall代数与量子群、Cluster代数与量子Cluster代数。2002年博士毕业于加拿大卡尔顿大学,先后在加拿大渥太华大学及加拿大温莎大学从事科研工作。在包括Compositio Math., Contem. Math., J. Algebra等期刊上发表过高水平论文30余篇。兼任多个顶尖数学杂志审稿人。
