应数学与统计学院邀请,南京大学数学学院汪正方副教授将来我院进行学术交流并作学术报告。
报告题目:Singular Hochschild cohomology
报告摘要:The singularity category was introduced by Buchweitz and then rediscovered by Orlov motivated by the homological mirror symmetry conjecture. Following Buchweitz, in analogy with Hochschild cohomology, one defines the singular Hochschild cohomology of an algebra as the Yoneda algebra of the diagonal bimodule in the singularity category of bimodules.
In this talk, we will first give an introduction to singularity categories and Hochschild cohomology. Then we will show that singular Hochschild cohomology is endowed with the same rich algebraic structure as classical Hochschild cohomology, namely a Gerstenhaber bracket in cohomology and a B-infinity structure at the cochain complex level. We will also talk about a conjecture by Keller for singular Hochschild cohomology and report a proof of this conjecture in the case of radical square zero algebras. This is based on a joint work with Xiao-Wu Chen and Huanhuan Li.

报告人简介:汪正方,南京大学数学学院副教授。2016年于巴黎第七大学获博士学位,曾先后在北京大学、德国波恩数学马普所从事博士后研究,任德国斯图加特洪堡学者、DFG研究员,2024年1月入职南京大学数学学院。汪正方博士在奇点Hochschild上同调与奇点范畴,以及将形变理论应用到表示理论等方面的取得了深刻的研究成果,得到了国际同行专家的普遍认可,相关论文发表在Adv. Math.,Trans. Amer. Math. Soc.,Proc. Lond. Math. Soc.,Int. Math. Res. Not.,Algebr. Geom.,Math. Z.,J. Noncommut. Geom.,J. Algebra等重要学术期刊上。2024年8月,在第21届国际代数表示论会议(ICRA)上荣获ICRA奖。
