报告题目:Trend to equilibrium for chemically reacting flows by entropy method
报告摘要:Studying convergence towards equilibrium for large chemical reaction systems in the PDE setting is a highly challenging task. This is partly due to the possibly high order of the reactions, for which one can only obtain global solutions with very low regularity, and partly due to the general structure of the network reactions, which requires a unified approach. To tackle this problem, we develop an entropy method for chemical reaction-diffusion systems, which (i) provides global convergence to equilibrium, (ii) is applicable for a large class of reaction systems, (iii) gives explicit convergence rates and constants, and (iv) is suitable for solutions with very low regularity.

Bao Quoc Tang副教授于2015年在奥地利格拉茨大学数学系获得博士学位。现任奥地利格拉茨大学数学系终身制副教授。主要从事反应扩散系统的理论及应用、偏微分方程边界噪声的稳定性、流体动力学中的能量守恒、确定和随机动力系统理论等相关问题的研究,目前已在包括Arch. Ration. Mech. Anal.、SIAM J. Math. Anal.、Ann. Inst. H. Poincaré、J. Diff. Equ.、Nonlinearity、J. Math. Biol.等国际知名学术期刊上发表学术论文四十余篇。
