应数学与统计学院邀请,中国地质大学(武汉)黄刚教授为我院师生作学术报告。
报告摘要:We construct several cholera transmission models based on complex networks, which can not only describe the biological characteristics of cholera transmission but also reflect the contact patterns among individuals. We also perform theoretical analyses and numerical simulations of the models, including analyzing the well-posedness of the model solutions, calculating the basic reproduction number, and discussing the global asymptotic stability of disease-free and endemic equilibria. The aim of this work is to reveal how the actual factors, such as demographics, vaccination, class-age structure, within-host vibrio evolution, and network topology, affect cholera transmission, and to propose optimal strategies for controlling cholera transmission from a network perspective.

黄刚,中国地质大学(武汉)数学与物理学院教授、博士生导师。主要从事稳定性理论,时滞微分方程理论及其在种群动力学和传染病动力学中的应用研究。主持和参与国家自然科学基金项目四项,主持省部级教学科研项目四项,出版学术专著三部,在JMB,BMB,SIAM,JTB, JNS等知名期刊发表SCI论文40余篇,论文总被引用2000余次。
