应数学与统计学院邀请，巴西科学院院士、巴西圣保罗大学Alexandre Carvalho教授将来我院作学术报告。
报告题目：Morse decomposition of cascade systems under non-autonomous perturbations
报告摘要：In this talk we present results ensuring that attractors of autonomous cascade dissipative systems with finitely many equilibria, all of them hyperbolic, have a Morse-Decomposition and, consequently, a Lyapunov functional. From that and from perturbation results we show that small non-autonomous perturbations of cascade systems have a skew product attractor with a Morse-Decomposition. The results can be applied cascaded ODEs and PDEs systems.

Alexandre N. Carvalho教授师从无穷维动力系统奠基人之一J. K. Hale教授。2012年当选为巴西科学院院士。现任巴西圣保罗大学教授。长期活跃在国际学术前沿，与合作者撰写的专著“Attractors for infinite-dimensional non-autonomous dynamical systems", Springer-Verlag (2013)，已成为无穷维动力系统领域经典教材。已经发表学术论文110余篇。发表的杂志包括 《Transactions of the American Mathematical Society》、《Communications in Partial Differential Equations》、《Indiana University Mathematics Journal》、《Siam Journal of Mathematical Analysis》、《Journal of Differential Equations》、《Ergodic Theory & Dynamical Systems》、《Nonlinearity》等国际著名期刊。现任《Journal of Differential Equations》、《Journal of Dynamics and Differential Equations》等多个国际学术刊物的编委。
